Children and youth
Takes place at 10.00 on the second Sunday of every month. The third Sunday of the month will always be the Family Service and on the fourth Sunday there will be activities for the children to complete in church, on the table at the side.
Currently we are thinking about the Fruits of the Spirit, taking a different aspect each month and setting ourselves challenges for the week ahead.
“My challenge was to have more self-control. I had six out of seven good days! I’m going to keep on trying hard.” Oliver, aged 9
Every Saturday morning Little Wings gathers in All Saints church hall for a fun, educational morning of rhymes, singing, dancing and tea! Mums, Dads, Grandmas and Grandads all get together to join in with the familiar nursery rhymes, children’s songs, and have a boogie to some well known “grown up tunes. We enjoy playing with instruments, colourful scarves, a parachute and of course the bubble machine!
“I have been running the class for two years now and it is very popular as there are not many activities for under 5’s at the weekend. It is a lovely opportunity for local families to bring their little ones along and enjoy singing and dancing together, and we always have time after class for a cuppa, a biscuit and a catch up while the children play.” Susan
